Rockets coach Mike D’Antoni said the players were devastated and it showed.
“This one hurt,” said Trevor Ariza. “This one hurt real bad.”
“Heartbroken,” added Gerald Green. “I feel like I let everybody down.”
The Rockets fell in Game 7 at home Monday night 101-92 to the Golden State Warriors, ending their season. What made it especially painful was a string of 27 straight missed three-pointers and the knowledge that Chris Paul (out with a hamstring injury) could easily have been the difference.
MK Bower and Dave Hardisty at Toyota Center discuss the game and what’s next for the Rockets.
