According to the Rockets official site, the team has signed rookie forward Bostjan Nachbar to a contract.
While terms of the deal were not disclosed by the Rockets, the ballpark value of the contract is set by where he was selected. The 15th overall pick last season, Steven Hunter, signed a 4-year, $6.2 million pact with the Magic.
Nachbar was scheduled to play in the Summer Pro League with the Rockets squad, but came back to Houston for the doctors to check him out on Tuesday.
The 6-foot-9 forward is expected to shore up the small forward position along with Glen Rice and Terence Morris.
