Just about every mock draft in existence has the Rockets nabbing Bostjan Nachbar with the 15th pick in the 2002 NBA Draft.
On Sunday, the Rockets will get a good look at the 6-foot-8 small forward.
Nachbar, the Euro small forward who has drawn comparisons to Vladimir Radmanovich and Peja Stojakovic, will run a workout for the Rockets on Sunday. The gunner averaged 12.2 points while grabbing 3.6 boards and 1.4 assists last season for the Italian team Benetton Treviso. He has drawn raves as well for his aggressiveness and ability to take it to the hoop.
Rudy T had gone to Italy back in early May to get a closer look at Nachbar and his younger teammate Nickoloz Tskitishvili, who is expected to go top 7 in Wednesday's draft.
In other draft-related news, John Salmons, the 6-foot-7 forward out of the University of Miami, worked out for the Rockets Tuesday and his workout was said to have been "very impressive". Salmons averaged 13.1 points, 6.1 boards and 6.0 assists for the Hurricanes, hitting just over 46% of his shots.
