Shaq dominates Yao, Rockets can't hit 3 to tie in 96-93 loss to Lakers

OUCH.

Yao Ming most certainly did not have it going on, while Shaquille O'Neal most certainly did.

Shaq scored 39 points, probably atleast half on thunderous dunks, and held Yao to just 6 points on 3-13 shooting as the Rockets fell down the stretch 96-93 to the Lakers in Houston.

Glen Rice's 29-footer for the tie at the end of the game was way off. The loss combined with an earlier Suns' win tonight puts the Rockets in a tie for the 8th seed and it doesn't get any easier as the Rockets head to San Antonio Thursday.
