Roughed Up In Portland
Poor fourth quarter hurts Rockets badly in 94-83 loss to Blazers
By Clutch
MARCH 20, 2003 12:13 AM  |  BOX SCORE  |  HISTORY VS. BLAZERS

For the second straight night, the Rockets started the fourth quarter with no offensive steam whatsoever, and both times it cost them.

The Rockets dropped their second straight Wednesday night, a 94-83 defeat to the Trailblazers in Portland.

The Blazers, led by Derek Anderson (21 points, 7 assists, 5 boards), shot 53% from the floor while the Rockets could muster just 3 field goals in the first 9 minutes of the fourth.

Even more amazing is to look at the stats and see that 4 Rockets (Francis, Mobley, Taylor, Griffin) got more shot attempts than Yao.
