Yao Outduels Stoudemire
Amare Stoudemire was a non-factor in the paint while Yao Ming scored 12 to go with 12 boards
Just like the back-to-back against Utah, the Rockets, less than 24 hours after a heartbreaking loss, came up with a huge road win.

And they can send a special thanks to Glen Rice.

Rice nailed 7 triples, scoring 23 points, as the Rockets cruised over the Suns 107-89 in Phoenix.

Cuttino Mobley snapped out of a funk with 22 points, but more importantly he had 7 assists. The Rockets dominated the Suns on the glass, holding a 57-32 edge, and turned rookie Amare Stoudemire (39 minutes, 11 points, 3 boards) in to a complete non-factor.

This is a big, big win against the current 7th seed in the West.
