Pistons Pummel Rockets
Offense is garbage again as Wallace-led Detroit overpowers Houston
By Clutch
JANUARY 24, 2003 9:56 PM  |  BOX SCORE  |  HISTORY VS. PISTONS

The offense continues the SuckFest.

The Rockets shot under 39% from the floor and could muster just 12 assists total as they were no match for Detroit in a 98-74 drumming Friday night in Houston. The loss drops the Rockets to 23-18 on the year.

As a fan, I just can't say enough about how excruciatingly painful it is to watch this Rocket team on offense.

There also was a battle of All Star starting centers going on, and tonight it was no contest. Ben Wallace put up 9 points, 18 boards, 3 steals, 3 blocks and 3 assists while Yao Ming, who has gone in the tank since the Lakers game, was just 1-4 from the floor for 4 points.
